The Awards provide a national platform to showcase exemplary institutional practices and outcomes that strengthen India's research and innovation ecosystem.

To ensure equitable benchmarking, institutions will be classified based on their year of establishment:
Institutions established 15 years ago or more.
Institutions established less than 15 years ago.
Institution classification will be automatically assigned based on the institution's eligibility, including the year of establishment, as per the Awards criteria.
Institutes may apply to one or more categories. Each category has its own scoring criteria and weightage framework.

Under each award category recognitions will be awarded at the following levels:
Best Performer in the Category.
Runner-up recognition for exceptional performance.
Commendable initiatives and impactful practices.
For each Institutional Classification Group, awards will be presented independently across all Award Categories under the respective Discipline (STEM or Pharmaceutical Sciences).

Complete the institutional information required for eligibility and classification.
Select the relevant award category(ies) and discipline(s).
Pay the applicable participation fee.
Complete the online questionnaire and application form carefully.
Upload supporting documents and evidence required for evaluation.
Save and edit the application as required until the submission deadline.
Review and submit the application through the Awards Portal.
The application can be submitted only after the applicable participation fee has been successfully paid and the payment has been realized.
